PRESENTE SIMPLE - E-MAIL

Los alumnos del Instituto Secundario Bernardo Larroudé en el Segundo Año del Polimodal eligieron una ciudad y desde allí le escribieron un mail a un amigo, contandole algunas características de la ciudad. Esta actividad se realizó luego de trabajar con mails y en el marco del Presente Simple.

Hi Jonatan!
I'm Fernando Horodeski and I come from Venice. It's a city in the north-east of Italy.
It is the home of the famous explorer, Marco Polo.
For centries the most popular fest was the carnival, it was a big port too. During ten days the people disguise with clothes of XVII century.
Formerly San Marcos square was limited for two churches, now it is one famous and historical place, on a certain occasions the square floods.
The classical transportation is by góndola, used for tourists. The islands are joined by bridges.I like it because it has got nice places.

Hi Fernando!

I'm Jonatan and come from Puerto Madryn. It's a city in the province of Chubut in Argentina.

We've got two important football teams- Guillermo Brown and Deportivo Madryn, it is the most popular football team in the city, we also have got a rugby team- Puerto Madryn Rugby Club.
In winter, the tourists make excursions to look the whales, dolphins, penguis, marine elephants and birds between others.
In summer, the tourists go to the beach where they practice nautical sports- kayak, canotaje, windsurf, kitesurf and motorsky.
Everyone is really friendly in Puerto Madryn. I like it best because it's my hometown and my family and friends live here.
